Wood 'seems a popular home improvement material'
At present, it would appear that many UK consumers making home improvements are considering the inclusion of wood in their design plans, one commentator has remarked.Power tools users aiming to enhance the look of their properties in the near future may be keen to hear the suggestions that were recently made by design expert Carolyn Park.
'It enables you to do anything, in any shape or form, and it's a natural product so ecology wise we would much rather use wood than plastic. That's the main benefit,' commented Ms Park, who acts as the Carolyn Park Interior Design head of design practice.
Discussing some of the options that are open to home improvers, Ms Park revealed that wooden materials like olive might end up costing consumers slightly more than products such as oak.
Within properties, garden designer Charlotte Rowe recently noted that gardens are often being viewed as extended parts of people's homes.
