Protective workwear requirements and other advice on offer
On Tuesday February 21st 2012, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will be giving a presentation in Knutsford, Cheshire, for members of the construction industry.The HSE is responsible for providing advice on aspects of safety such as protective workwear requirements and risk assessments, and the talk is part of an event being hosted by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
Its 'Continuing Professional Development' (CPD) workshops give attendees a chance to participate in discussion and to network with other industry professionals.
CPD sessions feature a mix of panel discussions, group exercises, breakout sessions and presentations, focussing on topics such as effective management, communication and presentation skills, finance and procurement, strategic planning or health and safety.
Commenting on the CPD workshops, the CIOB said: "These workshops are designed to increase participants' value to their companies, progress their careers and increase opportunities."
This free of charge event is open to all and begins at 18:30.
