People offered chance to be reunited with missing power tools
People in one part of the country are set to be given the chance to reclaim power tools which have gone missing in recent times, it has been revealed.Those based in the Maidenhead region might be able to take advantage of a new police event on Saturday (September 11th), which will see tools that are suspected of being stolen displayed to their real owners.
Thames Valley Police is behind this weekend's event.
Discussing the scheme, the Maidenhead neighbourhood policing team's PC Phil Ward noted that it could prove positive for local residents.
He stated: 'We encourage people who are missing power tools to come along and see whether any of the items belong to them - they may be pleasantly surprised to be reunited with their property.'
Magnet Leisure Centre will be hosting the police force's event.
