New products to revolutionise construction industry
This year's Public Sector Construction Conference is expected to see a host of new products, particularly for sustainable building.
The event next month will see a range of UK firms debuting new building construction materials and processes that will "revolutionise building construction", the Contract Journal reports.
The conference is a key part of the annual calendar for the UK's £125 billion public sector procurement industry.
Brick and building solutions firm Banbury has announced that it will be using the conference to unveil its new LiteStone architectural stone product, which offers the natural finish and strength of wet cast stone, but is just one third of the weight of dry cast stone alternatives.
The company's new LiteStack product is a one-piece chimney stack that is delivered complete and simply lifted into position on site, providing a realistic brickwork finish.
Both products use both traditional and modern techniques to create cutting-edge building materials with traditional finishes and Banbury will also use the conference to launch a new corporate identity.
