Nantwich residents set for tool trade-in scheme

Nantwich residents set for tool trade-in scheme People living in the Nantwich region may soon be able to purchase discounted hand tools by taking part in a local trade-in scheme.

Those looking to buy certain tools will gain a 20 per cent discount at Bridgemere Nursery and Garden World by exchanging their old equipment, the Crewe and Nantwich Guardian has reported.

The scheme, entitled the Garden Tool Amnesty, is designed to support a good cause, according to the garden centre's manager.

Marc Haigh is reported by the news provider as saying: 'The event is in aid of the Conservation Foundation's Tools Shed programme, which gives free garden tools repaired in a number of UK prisons to schools and community gardens.'

The Crewe and Nantwich Guardian report has pointed out that people will be able to take part in the tools amnesty initiative between the 13th and 28th of this month.

Meanwhile, householders looking to make use of tools when tackling DIY projects may benefit from the support of professionals, Ratedpeople.com recently suggested.
