Londoners 'may be able to recycle old power tools'

Londoners 'may be able to recycle old power tools' People living in one part of London are being encouraged to think about whether they might be able to recycle old electrical items such as power tools.

As part of Wandsworth Council's current Recycle Week initiative, those living in the borough will be able to find out if disused electric tools and appliances like toasters may be disposed of in an eco-conscious manner.

DIY fans who are keen to learn about how their power tools could be recycled might be able to get in touch with members of the organisation's recycling team at the forthcoming Lavender Hill festival.

Meanwhile, today could also see the team offer guidance to people at the borough's town hall concourse.

When it comes to DIY and home improvement work, Halifax research has found that in the past year, the average householder spent a sum of £6,362 on sprucing up their properties.
