Birmingham event showcases latest DIY tools
Retailers looking to invest in DIY products such as power tools may have recently gained inspiration from the Totally DIY event, which was held earlier this month.Taking place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, the show saw the likes of Draper Tools and Laser Tools show off their latest innovations to those in attendance.
In total, around 130 stands were available for people to view between February 7th and 9th.
A demonstration area was one interactive feature of the event, with visitors able to witness first-hand how certain products worked in practice.
Noting some of the trends that are likely to be seen in the DIY sector in the near future, Verdict Research's retail analyst Matthew Piner commented during the event: 'Heading into 2010, the big area of growth is likely to be bathrooms.'
This year's Totally DIY show ran alongside the Spring Fair International 2010 event.
